About us

Baki Inkshop is a Black-owned printing brand that brings stories to life through our custom printing services. We make things like custom stationery, art prints, merch, and other fun projects. Everything we create is made with care and respect for culture and creativity.

‘Baki’ means Black in Hausa, which reflects who we are and what our brand stands for. Every print we make carries meaning, with words from poetry, advice, and messages that inspire and uplift. Our prints are made to celebrate heritage, spark conversation, and bring warmth and personality to any space. Each piece is made with purpose for people who love art, stories, and history.

About the owner

Baki Inkshop was founded by A’Isha Adams, a poet, writer, and storyteller from St. Catharines, Ontario. Her work is all about culture, creativity, and intentional design.

With a background in design, marketing, and creative direction, A’Isha has worked with brands in Toronto to bring their ideas to life. She has a natural talent for blending colors, shapes, and storytelling into visuals that feel meaningful and timeless.

Her love for writing and design led her to study English, Professional Writing, and Communications at the University of Toronto, where she explored the power of words and visuals. Today, she brings that same care and creativity to printing, creating products that tell stories and celebrate culture.

Baki Inkshop is her space for turning ideas into prints, including custom stationery, art prints, and other creations that inspire, uplift, and connect people.
